Most Direct Ferry to Anchorage is through Whittier

Ferries to Alaska travel from Bellingham Washington up the Inside Passage stopping
at Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, Juneau, Haines and Skagway.

To travel to Anchorage, one either disembarks in Haines AK and drives on some 675 miles, or
takes the ferry from Bellingham WA to Whittier AK which will avoid driving into Canada.

Alaska Ferries do not travel to Anchorage and no ferries travel to Alaska from Seattle WA
