Discovered in 1790 Lopez is the1st ferry stop from Anacortes and is the third largest of the San Juan Islands. Farms and old orchards make Lopez Island island a favorite of hikers and cyclists.

Named for Gonzalo Lopez who discovered the island Lopez is the flattest of the three main islands and fishing, boating, kayaking, and biking and golf are a few of the most popular pastimes.
