Canadian Ports: Queen Charlotte Islands
An archipelago of more than 150 islands, the Queen Charlotte Islands are located 50 miles west of the mainland and are widely known for their outstanding natural beauty.
Providing something of interest for everyone, the area is comprised of four main towns: Massett, located on Graham Island is the western terminus of Hwy 16; Queen Charlotte City is located 3 miles south of the Skidegate Landing Ferry Terminal; Sandspit and Skidegate are located on Morseby island.
The variety of accommodations, from motels and hotels to guest and fishing lodges, combined with the ability to see migrating whales, enjoy some of the worlds best fishing, boating and hiking contribute to make these Islands an increasingly popular place to visit.
