An archipelago of more than 150 islands, the Queen Charlotte Islands are located 50 miles west of the mainland and are widely known for their outstanding natural beauty.

Providing something of interest for everyone, the area is comprised of four main towns: Massett, located on Graham Island is the western terminus of Hwy 16; Queen Charlotte City is located 3 miles south of the Skidegate Landing Ferry Terminal; Sandspit and Skidegate are located on Morseby island.
